I gained experience in architectural journalism already during my studies: I did two internships (db deutsche bauzeitung and design report) and supported archifant, a student's magazine for architecture at the Technical University of Munich.

Even during the seven months of exchange studies at the University of Tokyo – which were financed by a scholarship of the European Union – I could apply my previous experience: Two fellow students and me edited an English / Japanese book representing the results of this pilot programme (AUSMIP).

After the diploma I started working at Baumeister magazine and thus deepened my writing and editing skills.
Since 2007 I have lived as a freelance journalist in Stuttgart and Tokyo. I regularly worked for Schoenwetter Journalismus, frei04 publizistik, Konradin Media, Callwey editing house and SDU Uitgevers. Besides, I co-edited two books, the Trade Fair Design Annual 2009 / 2010, which was published by av edition in autumn 2009, and a book on the topic "Wall," published by the DVA Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt in spring 2010. Moreover, I am the editor and author of the books "Small Houses. Contemporary Japanese Dwellings," which was published by Birkhäuser in 2011, and "Future Living. Collective Housing in Japan."

From May 2011 to March 2014, I had been living and working in Munich, since August 2014, I'm living in Düsseldorf and will be out of office for maternity leave until April 2014.
