I gained experience in architectural journalism already during the basic study period at the TU Munich. Some fellow students and me refounded archifant, a student's magazine for architecture at the Technical University of  Munich.

After the pre-diploma (after four terms) I did internships at the magazines db deutsche bauzeitung and design report. In cooperation with Wilfried Dechau, the former editor-in-chief of deutsche bauzeitung, and the art director Bjoern Maser I edited a catalogue for the photo exhibition "Baustelle" for the Architectural Association of Baden-Württemberg soon after.

Even during the seven months of exchange studies at the University of Tokyo – which were financed by a scholarship of the European Union – I could apply my previous experience: Two fellow students and me edited an English / Japanese book representing the results of this pilot programme (AUSMIP).

After the diploma I started a vocational training at Baumeister magazine and thus deepened my writing and editing skills. Moreover, I could experience all phases of the professional publishing of magazines.

Since 2007 I have lived as a freelance journalist in Stuttgart and Tokyo. I regularly worked for Schoenwetter Journalismus, frei04 publizistik, Konradin Media, Callwey editing house and SDU Uitgevers.  Besides, I also co-edited two books, the Trade Fair Design Annual 2009 / 2010, which was published by av edition in autumn 2009, and a book on the topic "Wall", published by the DVA Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt in spring 2010.

Since May 2011 I am living and working in Munich.
