A friend from Osaka teached me some words in Osaka-dialect. In my impression, the mood this dialect delivers ressembles very much the mood of the Bavarian dialect.

Breakfast and dinner are often served as cold dishes in Germany. The Bavarian word for a meal which looks like the one shown at the photo is "Brotzeit", time for bread.

Bavarian Lunch: The famous "Schweinebraten" (roast pork) with Knoedel (dumplings). If you think this doesn't look healthy, you might be right - but actually, most bavarians eat it with some kind of salad or cooked vegetables.
